CARE

Allerton Care provides Specialist Supported Housing (SSH) for individuals with mental health and learning difficulties throughout England.

The number of adults with learning and mental difficulties which require specialised care is set to increase in the coming years. Record numbers of those born with conditions of this kind are living into adulthood and this has led to a major re-evaluation of the provision of care and supported living for these individuals.

The knock-on effect of this is that those requiring specialised care is going to significantly increase.
For those with severe learning difficulties or other mental health conditions, the requirement for specialised living needs to be met and these people need to be able to live in an environment which makes their lives fulfilling and where they are able to exercise a certain degree of independence.

HIGHEST QUALITY OF CARE

Allerton Care is addressing these issues and we work with families and local authorities, as well as other stakeholders, to make sure that each individual who is in need of a place in a specialised unit is given the highest possible quality of care.

People are always at the heart of Allerton Care and their needs are always the starting point for any project. As well as existing services which we provide, we are constantly assessing the needs of each individual to see if there are additional options for care.

SPECIALISED CARE

Providing care for individuals requires a holistic approach. We conduct an exhaustive process with local authorities and care providers in each area to make sure we are providing the best possible care for each individual. We do not, however, limit someone’s need to what is available in that particular area. We are open to identifying support mechanisms and care which can be brought over from neighbouring areas to provide each person with the best possible care that is available to them.
This type of specialised care can vary greatly in different areas and we don’t want any individual or their families to feel that they cannot access the requirements simply because of where they live. The requirements of the person will win out over geography and we want to work with as many interested parties as soon as possible to provide the best level of care.

As well as our drive to innovate and provide bespoke care, we provide existing services in the following areas:

• Residential Care
• Supported Living
• Domiciliary Care
• Sheltered Housing
• Disability Care, including but not limited to:
• Mental Health
• Complex Health
• Challenging Behaviour
• Learning Disabilities
• Physical Disabilities
